Honeybush is a flowering plant indigenous to South Africa, much less known than its cousin Rooibos. Honeybush tea has a similar taste to Rooibos, with sweeter, rounder notes of honey.
Honeybush tea is naturally caffeine free and be enjoyed all day long.
It is believed that Honeybush has many health benefits such as antioxidant, digestive and soothing properties and also alleviates respiratory symptoms.

In cooking and pastry, the delicious notes of wood, chocolate and honey will pair perfectly with fish and white meat, added to a marinade or infused in sauces. Honeybush is also a great addition to ganache or cream.
