In a large saucepan filled 3/4 full with water, add a generous pinch of coarse salt and a drizzle of oil.
Bring to a boil.
Place the pasta and constantly stir until it boils again.
"Al dente" cooking is ideal. According to pasta manufacturers, time of cooking may vary several minutes. However, pasta must remain slightly firm to obtain this result. The best way to check "al dente" cooking is to drain them or to test thier consistency by pinching with your finger nails.
Drain them and cool down under fresh tap water. Drain once again.
When cooking the pasta, you will just need to dip them again for a few seconds in a warming pan. You will then just need to add butter or proceed with any other method.
