Mangaro 71% dark chocolate is made from beans grown on an ancient mango plantation in Madagascar, known as Mangamaro, meaning "where there are many mangoes".
This unique soil, where mango and cocoa roots intertwine, imparts the chocolate with distinctive notes.
Vanilla, litchi, and other natural wonders also thrive in this fertile valley.
The beans are fermented and dried directly on the plantation before being roasted and processed at the Cluizel factory, following a traditional, time-honored method.
