Originally from the West Indies, Colombo is a different version of the Indian curry blend.
The British brought curry with them from their Indian colonies and changed the recipe by substituting certain ingredients which were not available in the West Indies.

Colombo is a versatile spice blend that pair very well with meat, poultry and fish.

Chef Philippe's tip: Add some Colombo powder to your dressing for a delicious twist.

Ingredients: Various spices, including turmeric, cumin, caraway, chilli, ginger, coriander, bay leaf, fennel, salt, fenugreek. May contain traces of celery, sesame.
