Max Daumin crafted the Explosion pepper blend, which combines organic black pepper from Madagascar and bird's eye chili, a small plant grown on the same island.
Although it is only 1 to 2cm long, this chili is extremely spicy and rated between 8 and 9 on the Scoville scale (out of 10).
A touch of coriander from Isère, France is added to slightly attenuate the power of this blend.
This blend offers the perfect balance between aromatic intensity, complexity and richness. It is ideal for adding flavour and spice to any recipe with meat, fish, vegetables, sauces or soups.
Sprinkle the Explosion pepper blend over your plate to reveal the intense, peppery aromas of bird's eye chilli, which releases heat in your palate in association with the power of the black pepper. Coriander brings slightly lemony notes.
Each ingredient comes from organic farming in France and Madagascar.
