This lemon loaf cake mix allows you to easily reproduce Chef Philippe's failproof recipe at home.

This lemon drizzle cake recipe by Chef Philippe is an all-time favourite for children of all ages.
Manufactured in our laboratory in the Basque country, France, this lemon loaf cake mix is made of healthy, quality ingredients.
This recipe has an intense lemon flavour with the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.
Thanks to this lemon loaf cake mix, preparing a delicious afternoon treat is easy as a breeze.

Instructions:
1. Pour the cake mix into a bowl.
2. Add the zest of a lemon (preferably organic).
3. Add the whole eggs at room temperature, the dark rum and whipping cream.
4. Combine in the stand mixer until homogeneous, then add the melted butter (warm or at room temperature).
5. Transfer the preparation into the cake mould (22cm), slightly greased beforehand.
6. Bake in a fan-assisted oven preheated to 150°C (gas 2) for 50 minutes.

7. Lemon drizzle icing: Whisk the icing sugar, the juice of one lemon and the zest of 1/4 lemon.
8. Take the cake out of the oven and increase the temperature up to 200°C (gas 6). Leave the cake to cool for 5 minutes then release from the mould onto a cooling rack.
9. Pour the lemon icing over the hot cake (use a brush over the sides).
10. Return the cake to the hot oven for 2 minutes max.
11. Leave to cool at room temperature until the lemon drizzle icing has set.

  • Store away from direct light and heat in original packaging.
  • Ingredients: Castor sugar (France), T55 wheat flour (France), natural lemon flavouring powder (France), baking powder (France), salt (EU).
  • Allergens: Gluten, may contain traces of nuts.
  • What to add: 1 lemon (preferably organic), 3 whole eggs, 2 tbsp. dark rum, 95g whipping cream (30% fat), 65g melted butter.
