Use only fresh eggs coming from the fridge, the separation will be easier and more efficient. Using eggs at ambient temperature may occure breaking yellows.
The eggs separator must always be carefully washed before and after use : whites and yellows are "sticking", so that could bother the flowing of the eggs.

Can't Recommend A Purchase
Doesn't separate eggs. The design is different from the one in the picture, and has double slots and a steel lip at the bottom of the slide. For the 72 eggs tested on it, 20 yolks broke, 15 went through the slots before reaching the end of the separator. The slots are too wide, the edges of the lip have not been finished properly, and are razor sharp, leading to the yolks being sliced. Avoid.

Hello,
You have to use only fresh eggs coming from the fridge, the separation will be easier and more efficient. Using eggs at ambient temperature may occure breaking yellows. Furthermore, the eggs separator must always be carefully washed before and after use : whites and yellows are "sticking", so that could bother the flowing of the eggs.
