Important! Black steel - or blue steel- is a material that tends to rust when kept in a damp environment. All black steel pans should be thoroughly dried after each use.
To prevent rusting, we also recommend giving the pan a light coating of grease or oil between each use.
This rusting phenomenon is normal and is not a sign of a faulty item or manufacturing issue.
